What’s a toy library?

It’s the biggest toy box you’ve ever seen! It’s a place where you can borrow toys, games, puzzles and costumes for up to three weeks at a time.

Where is Elwood Toy Library ?

You’ll find us at the rear of ESNLC in the Function Room.

When are we open?

We’re open Wednesdays, Fridays & Saturdays from 9.30 to 11.30am (except public holidays).

Who can join?

Anybody can! Residents of the City of Port Phillip are especially welcome. New members can join any time by visiting the toy library.

How does it operate?

Elwood Toy Library is a not-for-profit community organisation with a volunteer committee of management. It’s a place where you can borrow toys, puzzles, games and costumes for up to three weeks at a time. Members participate in a weekly roster three times a year and pay an annual fee. Payment can be made by cash, credit card or PayPal (a surcharge applies).

Members pay an annual fee. The rates are:

  • 6 Toys, Puzzles or Games at a time – $100/$30 concession
  • 12 Toys, Puzzles or Games at a time $110/$35 concession
  • 18 Toys, Puzzles or Games at a time $120/$40 concession

* Concession rate is available to Health Care Card holders
