A Sustainable Neighbourhood
We want our Neighbourhood House to be an environment where current and future generations care for our planet and every living thing. We believe, like us, you want to do the best for our environment but it can be overwhelming and make us very anxious and sometimes you just don’t know what to do. We want to help by making it as easy as possible and by giving you a way to easily do your bit. See below for the ways we are doing this. If you have any other great ideas, a project of your own or want to be involved in our working group, please let us know at esnlc@esnlc.com.au.
Sustainable Living: Community Education
We have been holding a series of workshops/classes and providing access to free video’s to help you be more environmentally sustainable. There are such topics as “Earth and Sustainable Building”, “How and What can I Recycle?”, “Cooking and Shopping with Less Waste”, “Beeswax Wrap Workshops” and much more. Keep an eye out for the details and follow us on Facebook!
