The Feel-Good Sessions

Celebrate Seniors Festival with FREE Tai Chi, Yoga and Chair Pilates sessions that support healthy ageing, wellbeing and social connection. Suitable for all levels, these welcoming classes help improve balance, flexibility, strength and relaxation while offering an opportunity to connect with others.

Chair Pilates

Whether you’re a senior, an older adult, returning to exercise, or simply looking for a gentle way to move, our Chair Pilates class is designed to support you. Every exercise can be modified, making the class suitable for all ages, levels of mobility and experience.

You’ll also reap the rewards of learning how to strengthen your muscles and joints safely and also strengthen muscles that assist with balance.

If you’ve been thinking about giving Chair Pilates a try, this is the perfect opportunity.

Yoga

Our yoga classes help bring strength, flexibility and balance into your day, while providing an opportunity to stretch the body, calm the mind and enjoy some time for yourself.

Our experienced instructors have been leading Gita Yoga for many years and bring a wealth of knowledge to each class. Gita Yoga focuses on supporting balance within the body through targeted stretching, breathing techniques and meditation.

Yoga mats are available to use, or you are welcome to bring your own.

Tai Chi

Tai Chi is an internal Chinese Martial Art that has been practiced in China since the 16th Century. It’s a tranquil and graceful way of keeping fit, improving your health, and helping to prevent the stresses and strains of modern living. These classes will include Qigong breathing and meditation techniques; strength, flexibility, balance and coordination exercises; and learning a Tai Chi form.

Suitable for all ages and fitness levels.

You don’t need to bring anything. Just wear loose, comfortable clothing and flat-soled shoes if you have them.
