Course Levels

Beginners – Level 2 : After an introduction to the French language in level 1 where we focused on pronunciation and the basics, you are now able to introduce yourself, ask basic questions, express what you like and dislike…

In this next level you will strengthen the basics of Level 1 and learn how to talk about your family, speak in the past, ask more questions and a lot more. Amanda loves this level as it’s an exciting step ahead!

Intermediate: After a few levels of beginners, you are now able to read and express yourself on a variety of subjects, but you still have a lot of grammar and vocabulary to add to your knowledge. We also focus a little on writing.

At this level, you can already start thinking of a trip to France as you are definitely able to get by and enjoy it!

Intermediate+: After a few terms of Intermediate, your confidence has grown. We will focus on more reading and discussions in the class on a variety of topics to expand your vocabulary.

And being French, there is always a bit of grammar!

Advanced: You are now confident to express yourself on any topic at a good level. Classes will include reading, writing, debating, grammar and anything else we decide to do as a group (like reading a small French book, poems, songs..).
