Chaos to Calm: Evening Workshop Series

We are running our popular Chaos to Calm Wellness Series again but this time in the evenings for those who work. This is a series of workshops held by experts in their field to give you tips and knowledge to create a calm and well life.

Venue: 87 Tennyson St Elwood.
Cost: $15 per talk (free for concession & members) unless otherwise stated below.


TUES 22/10:  7-8pm – Anton Anagnostou (Wellness practitioner) “WHAT’S YOUR STORY? A Healing Journey”. This interactive workshop about how storytelling can help our sense of the world and shape who we are.

MON 28/10: 7-8pm -Sonya Tsakalaksis (Bibliotherapist) “THE ART OF MINDFUL READING”. Finding meaning in your own life from selected texts.

MON 11/11: 7-8pm – Marcus Khan  (Massage therapist) ” LEARN SELF MASSAGE” Self Massage Techniques and Stretches to improve posture and relieve pain.

TUES 12/11:  7-8pm – Lori Boys “TRAVEL & ADVENTURE: Tools, tips & resources.” Self love and the joy of going on an adventure, how to create it and the benefits it brings.

MON 25/11:  7-8pm – Doghouse Aust. & Pinup Pooch  “HAPPY PETS HAPPY OWNERS.” Stories of how pets positively contribute to our mental health and recovery. Tips on nutrition, care and lifestyle to keep your pets health and happy. Dog friendly event.

MON 2/12: 6.30-7.30pm – Pat Plum “YOGA NIDRA” (meditation style yoga). Gold coin donation to Asylum Seekers Resource Centre. Please don’t wear fragrance.
