ESNLC could not operate without the dedicated contribution of our many wonderful volunteers. There are some amazing volunteers that have been with us for a long time and many others have moved on in search of their dreams. We are often on the lookout for people who can assist us to keep the operation running. We have positions in: Office administration/reception, Property maintenance, Marketing, Website maintenance, Gardening, Breakfast club, Newsletter production and Event support.

As the volunteer facilitator of our computer club and someone able to assist users of the internet cafe, Chris makes a substantial, helpful and much appreciated contribution to ESNLC.

Helena Kallaur has been on the job trainer with our ARCS program since 2015. She is actually employed by Port Melbourne Neighbourhood Centre to supervise volunteers in our Reception Training Program.

Helena has spent many years in the retail industry and has a great deal of customer service experience.

She also has a Certificate III in Community Services, Certificate III in Business Administration and Certificate IV in Frontline Management.

Helen has been at Elwood Neighborhood House for just over 4 years. She has been volunteering in reception doing various administration tasks. She photocopies, files, scans, emails and produces various word documents to help reception run smoothly. ESNLC would not function well without her!

Elisabeth is from Barcelona and was living in Switzerland before continuing her path in Australia. She has been working in IT for several years and enjoys volunteering at the centre by taking care of the website and keeping it up to date.

We use becollective.com as our volunteer coordination platform. If you are interested in volunteering you can create a profile and join our group “Elwood St Kilda Neighbourhood Learning Centre”. From there we will notify you of all volunteer opportunities available.
