The Ace Sector

The ACE sector is made up of community providers of adult, community and further education (ACFE). In Victoria the term ACE sector refers only to community owned and managed adult education. Community owned and managed adult education is more developed as a sector in Victoria than in any other Australian State or Territory. The Adult, Community and Further Education Act 1991 recognises ACE as a distinct education sector by virtue of its focus on adult education and its community ownership and management.
