ESL-Literacy

Classes teach conversation skills, writing, listening, and reading grammar vocabulary and computer skills.

Accredited Curriculum

ESL Frameworks, Certificates 1,2 & 3.
Certificate in General Education for Adults.

Course Fees

$30 per term ($13 tuition & $17 amenities) for students with concession cards who are permanent residents or Australian citizens. $50 for non-concession permanent resident or Australian Citizens.

$100 per term for non permanent residents and all other visa holders, $100 per course enrolment.

Assessment

Make an appointment to see Katya on a Monday. Katya will assess your level with a short assessment activity and places you in a class. Students with disabilities are integrated in to classes.

Childcare

Childcare is available for students and the general public.

For funded classes

$3 per child per hour with Health Care Card

$5 per child per hour with no Health Care Card

Occasional Care

$6 per child per hour with Health Care Card

$10 per child per hour with no Health Care Card

Civics Contains:
An innovative curriculum teaching the language of local government to ESL learners in a meaningful context. Civics is accompanied by lesson plans, student worksheets and fourteen satirical cartoons.

Civics cd rom is an interactive student centered cd which teaches the language of local government and promotes functional language skills. Students work independently through language exercises developing vocabulary, language structure and listening skills.
