Occasional Child Care
The City of Port Phillip holds a Limited Hours Type 2 children’s service licence for ESNLC, issued by the Department of Education and Early Child Development. Our occasional child care service takes children aged 3 months to 5 years and is offered Monday to Friday from 9.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m during school terms. Watch this space for changes in operating hours – this page will be the first area to publish any changes in this. A maximum of 7 children can be cared for at any one time. The license enables the care of each child for not more than a total of 15 hours a week.
The purpose of the occasional child care service is to enable parents with young children to study English or computer courses. It is also available for members of the community. Bookings can be made on the phone, but cancellations have to be made 48 hours in advance, otherwise customers will be charged the full fee of the booking.
