An enjoyable, nourishing and nurturing experience for parents, creating a space for you as a person to connect with yourself and how you want to parent. Taking time for you where there is nothing you have to do, nothing you have to juggle, nothing you have to think… A time to nourish body, mind and spirit.
The guided meditation will be informed by my practice as a solution oriented hypnotherapist (as well as my experience as a parent). We all have many more skills and resources than we consciously realise and the meditation is designed to help us individually and collectively connect with those skills and resources so that we can helpfully use them in our parenting. The guided meditation also offers ideas from the latest research into mindfulness so that participants may use this information to inform their parenting should they wish. During the guided meditation you can sit, lie or position yourself in a way that is most comfortable for you while I speak to facilitate your experience (bring something comfortable like a mat if you would like to lie on the floor).
Depending upon the size of the group, the format of each session will be some discussion (to find out the particular needs of the group), a guided meditation (addressing those needs) and then conclude with reflections on the experience of the group and exploring possible ways to further use what is discovered in everyday life.
